I've had this problem quite often too. I even sent the Stream in once &
they found nothing wrong. So from what you're saying Humanware won't
replace the cord in this situation? You have to buy a new one yourself?
Seems like they should be replacing these cords since this is such a common

What sort of cord do I search for on Amazon? I want to plug it into an
electric outlet not the computer, then into my Stream.

Subject: [Vrstream] careful when charging your stream, buy new coreds

Hi to all. I thought I'd have to send in my stream for repair of the
USB port where my charging cable goes in. Fortunetly that doesn't
seem to be the case now. I'd noticed that the last few times I'd
charged my stream, I had to be a little careful not to move my stream
around, but it did still charge. However, today, Every time I'd try
and plug in my charging cord, the stream would make those connect and
disconnect sounds. I'd try and move it just so, and it would charge
for a while, but if I moved it ever so slightly, it would make the
disconnect sound. Well, I called humanware, and they told me try a
new cord or if that didn't work, I'd have to send in my stream for
repairs. I didn't think I had another micro USB cord, but I found
one, and at least for now, it is working. I just bought 3 6 feet long
micro USB cables from amazon for around $10, and they will be here
this coming Saturday. I'm glad my stream is still working.
